A Laughing Mantra

A mantra, by definition, is "a sound, syllable, word, or group of words that is considered capable of creating transformation". I have so much I would like to change, from my apartment layout to my attitude to my relationships in life. I'm hoping to document my quest to keep moving forward here, and make sure I stick to my goals!

My Goals

Take more pictures.
Give "gold stars".
Smile more.
Really listen.
Stop snarking!
Say yes more than I say no, but...
...remember I can still say no.
Keep a food diary.
Show love materially.
Learn a skill outside of my comfort zone.
Cook at home more.
Get it organized and keep it clean.
Write. Write often. Write what makes me happy.
Ask questions
Apply once a week (to a job, to a person, to an opportunity)
Be as patient as I would be with a five-year-old, and as respectful as I would be to my 85-year-old aunt.
Laugh at myself!
Be a bright spot.

Who I Am

L.B.
PA, United States
I’m unorganized, but I love lists. I’m not a collector, but I’m terribly sentimental. I’m struggling to break through into the professional world, while hardly feeling professional myself. I am trying to learn, grow, and meet challenges head on with a glowing attitude.
